You are right, they are for sure, and of course Roadblock is holding that bullshit "thing" in his right hand that prevents articulation. But again not a deal breaker for me personally, although i probably wont get anymore Roadblocks in any more future waves. I dont care if they fix the articulation or dress him in a tu-tu.

Actually i double checked and besides Roadblock and CC, but the cobra trooper and Duke also DO NOT have ankle articulation either. The Joe trooper and ninjas and snake eyes do have it tho.

Without actually opening the dollar general 6 yet, it DOES appear they DO have the ankle articulation tho. So thats good news and they do come with stands too.

I bought two, Zartan and Black CC. Those two came with decent accessories (a few swords, crossbow, and heads for Zartan and two guns and a giant snake staff for CC) and have excellent upper body articulation. However, it is the leg articulation that suffers. While I can live with the single knee joint (not much articulation is lost, I compared it with Renegades Storm Shadow and if that bent at 45 degrees then Zartan's goes at a 50 degree angle. The biggest fault is the lack of ankles, which is more annoying with Zartan than Cobra Commander, but they are still good figures. I'd wait for the Wave 2 Roadblock, though, as that appears to have a full range of lower body articulation as well as two open hands. Duke will probably end up as the main character you can skip, but the rest look to be worth it, especially the GI Joe Trooper if that is your sort of thing.

Since it wasnt answered in the review thread, does DG CC have the wrist articulation? It looks like he does but I am not sure.

Found the Retaliation bikes in TRU on Rt 1 across from WOodbridge center....
The SE is completely redunant, I mean the motorcyclr is pretty similar to the ones that have been issued before except that it has a pull back feature. SE WOULD have been a pretty good mold if he had some articulation...I mean he's molded for two options...sit on bike or take a dump. Otherwise he's pidgeoned toed. The Cobra bike is better FF suffers from the same issues as SE, but I REALLY love the bike in fact I might even grab a few of these JUST for the bike...I hope this gets reused a few more times, in fact I would I am thinking of doing an Ashiko custom with this bike since the cycle armor idea kinda sucks, but making a new version of the character. |

He also has the ankle articulation too. One interesting thing i noticed after opening him, is that his stand is blank. Thers no name at all on the front of it. IDK if all the DG's are like this yet, cause the CC is the only one i opened so far. I am assuming that all 6 prob are blank stands as well. I will prob open a few more tonight,so i will let you guys know. |
