Had a NV when I was a kid. 1989 was pretty much the last year I bought Joes seriously. There were many cool figures from that collection.
I will definitely get 2 or 3 for my 25th style collection!

I hope someone from hasbro is reading this and they release it sooner. The figure as it is is already great and I will buy at least 3 of them.
Reused parts is not a problem in fact I think those arms and torso are spot on for this character. Legs are what bugs me most specially the lower ones. As for improvements well they could replace at least the lower legs and use thos hiss driver ones anyway I will be doing that probably even if they don't. And I would say an ARAH backapck would look nice instead of whatever they gave him in those photos. Again I have one lined up already would be nice if someone casts them also. As for the rest the weapons are ok funny how that Zartan rifle is with him when I had the same idea for the new NV custom I was making. But after seeing this I cancelled him Now lets see if hasbro reads this gives him those lower legs, backpack and above all release it ASAP

I agree completely. An ARAH style backpack, and better lower legs...

I hope to own five of them. This was one of my favorite Cobra figures back in the ARAH days, so I can't wait to get one. Too bad it's buried at the end of the Retaliation line.

i loved what they did with the jungle-viper though. 100% win on a new character.

There is good images on this site:
http://www.joedeclassified.com/forum...b10a8971#p3214 Looks like an excellent figure, the legs have the feel of the old one. The Crimson Guard looks good but they shouldve used different legs it looks to effeminate and the old crotch design is horrible. |

I think it's pretty perfect except his lower legs shouldve been the POC ninja kick (or whatever) SE. Those night creeper legs make no sense.
