What a missed opportunity the liquidator was! In fact it was a good start. ditch the water gun and drop down handle, improved landing gear, silver instead of yellow missiles , smoke instead of blue canopy: We would have had a great delta wing cobra fighter we all wanted since the mass device.

Since my other choices have been mentioned, I'm going to add the Silver Mirage motorcycle, Destro's tank/helicopter combo and the D.E.M.O.N. The mirage was just too long. It looked ridiculous w/o the sidecar. The two IG vehicles just have WTF written all over them.

i would say the 90's gliders darn things didn't even fly.
personally i liked the buzz boar i thought it made a great vehicle for clearing paths through jungles instead of the whole digging idea. |

I hated that thing too. I also hate: Road Toad Cobra Earthquake Destro's DEMON (that thing would flip completely over in real life) Virtually anything with neon colors... Don't get me started on Cesspool's toxic chemical lab. That thing was a direct rip-off of Hordak's Slime Pit from Masters of the Universe. The Dino-Hunters vehicle was stupid, as were the Joe and Cobra aircraft that squirted water (Hasbro trying to compete with the Super Soaker toys). Stupid. Really, really stupid. |

Hasbro jumped the shark when they started putting non-tactical, bright neon colors as dominant colors in the vehicle and figure designs. The Conquest X-30 is nearly impossible for me to digest because of those bright yellow colors!!! I like the Arctic camouflage exclusive Conquest X-30 from Toys R Us. At least the missiles are black, and the bird is camouflaged. Sidenote: While we all know that crimson is a non-tactical color, I am willing to pardon that one because it's not a neon color. Crimson on HISS Driver, Wild Weasel and Crimson Guard are all excellently done because they blend well with the less dominant jet black colors. What is unforgivable is the neon orange and neon green stuff. That's when they took it too far. Monster Viper from the "Mega Marines" series is the quintessential figure of which I speak. Neon pink and yellow uniforms???? http://www.yojoe.com/action/93/megaviper.shtml Last edited by Bravestarr; 10-01-2008 at 11:45 PM.. |

How can the DEMON tank treads move inward or outward without coming off the bogey wheels? And what if that sucker makes a sudden stop or start while the platform is elevated? It's too top heavy to not go tumbling over. It's an innovative design, but way too impractical and dangerous to ride in. I prefer the down-to-earth stuff like HISS Tank, Stinger Jeep, Firebat, FANG, Stilleto starship, etc... Even the Hammerhead and BUGG are practical, but the color scheme, Hasbro!!! The ugly color scheme!!! |
