meh... we'll see. It's a bigger project than I was really planning on. Toad and mastermind are both waiting patiently in the wings... I'm maybe thinking about Nebula as well... But I'm trying not to overwhelm myself or I'll shut down and will stop customizing until I can re-boot.... which is usually a few weeks of doing 40k models.

It looks nice though!

Hey everyone, I just worked out a trade and I know some of you are looking for a Spider-Man series Shocker. Well, I have 2 coming. 1 MOC, 1 Loose. And I'm offering them here only!
If anyone is interested, PM me ASAP. I will accept payment via paypal or a specific trade ONLY. I'll mention them both in PM's. Thanks! |

Got a few more of wave 16 at WM. They price matched the TRU ad. Also saw the Renegades wave at the same WM. First time they have gotten new Joes in over a year. Got a couple of those with the price match also.

That sucks I hope it doesn't flood. Years ago I lost all my vintage Stars Wars stuff. The Death Star , Sears Cantina set,Super Powers collection, Secret Wars and tons of Joes plus my Defiant and a lot of He-Man and Thunder Cats and a good portion of my comic book collection that were stored in basement all while I was away at school due a busted water pipe. The water damage and mold had destroyed about 80% of childhood collection. Unfortunately none of it was insured.:(
PS - Got my new CPs from HTS today. Looking nice. I am really starting to rethink being MOC because I am simply running out of space to display them all. If I cant display them, then I dont want them becuase what is the fun in that? When I open some of the packages that I ship to you guys, I like posing them for a moment before they get packed. I am strongly going to consider it. Any advice?

I am strongly going to consider it. Any advice? My collection is about a 70/30 split between MOC and loose. The only reason there's that large of a disparity is because of space. Ideally I'd like to only have about 15-20% of my collection MOC/MIB. I love displaying my figures, but until my second oldest daughter goes off to college (my eldest is a college freshman right now) in a another 18 months, I won't have my mancave space to do it. I know that sounds backwards, as it takes more space to store them MOC than it does to display. But it drives me nuts to have a display where all the figures are piled so closely together, that you can't differentiate anyone. I hate having to say "Who the fuck is that on the 4th row, 5th from right?", because they're obscured by other figures. I need a display where most every figure can get equal shine. That's just my take. So I hope that helps. |
