Because my collecting focus is on international Joes, I have a lot of items that many would consider "rare". In fact, many "common" international Joes are actually rarer than "rare" domestic Joes. For every UK Tiger Force figure you see on EBay, you probably see 3-4 Viper pilots, GH Steel Brigades, etc.
That being said, my rarest figure is probably not my most expensive figure. I paid more for my Cobra Mortal than for any other figure I have ever bought. But you see at least one Mortal a month on EBay. My rarest figure is probably my Funskool red and yellow Beach Head. Since I bought mine back in 2004 or so, I have only seen maybe a half dozen others - and half of *those* have been in other peoples' collections and not up for sale. Unfortunately, this figure doesn't have the cachet of some of the other rare Funskools (red Buzzer, purple Ripper) and doesn't fetch the same type of price when it sells.

I wasn't the winner of the auction if that is what you were meaning. I received this fig as a gift last year from a great friend, Aire Devon. I had no idea the value of it was so high until I saw the auction. Sorry for the confusion. There's more pics of my POC cancelled Snake Eyes in my profile (albums).

I don't know that I own any rare GI Joe figures. I'm the type of collector who buys toys to play with, and because of that there are certain limits as to what I am willing to pay for a figure. The most I've ever paid for a single figure was $20.00. And that was Hard Top.

I would have to say the original manimal figures I have Warwolf and Zigzag. Originals from 1994, not prototypes of the ones that were later released by kbtoys.

Does the Sigma 6 line counts? Cos I have a Sigma 6 Firefly Cobra carded and one opened, I think these are pretty difficult to get now. Of course I have all my joes from the 80s and some european Action Force since that's the name under which they were released in France... I don't think I own any particular rare figure, but then I don't really know which ones are considered rare
