I found this on wiki and I wonder how legit it is .... according to the entry, there will be a new nWo formed:
Kevin Nash (leader), Wade Barrett, Heath Slater, Christian, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, and David Otunga New World Order (professional wrestling) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I haven't read the smackdown spoilers yet as I watch it on Friday but is this happening? |

No it doesn't. Not at all. Stop recycling really played out ideas and do something else. We've already had NWO versions 1-10. Isn't that basically what the Nexus was anyway?
And keep Nash away from a wrestling ring. I don't want to hear or see him ever again. He's nothing but an egotistical, overgrown, lazy, piece of money grubbing trash.

But I still meant what I said about Nash. He's one of those guys when he shows up on screen, I want to reach through the tv screen and punch him in the throat and stomp both of his bad knees.

TNA sucked this week. The main event with Storm vs. Roode was a good match and I enjoy Sting's Joker gimmick, but the rest of the show was horrible. Bad booking, lackluster showing from most of the wrestlers, and way too much time wasted talking without moving storylines forward (speaking of which are there even storylines in this company anymore?).

TNA / Impact just doesn't get it...for as much as they have some good talent they have zero idea how to use that talent. They have zero idea how to build story, or excitement.
At its core TNA / IMPACT is still what old school wrestling was...a bunch of old guys protecting their spot or promoting their friends or and forgive this comparison but its true a good 'ol' boys club. I give you the recent push of Bobby Roode...the guy has solid skills, and puts on great matches but has yet to show the 'IT' factor that makes one a star. Example...Arn Anderson...I love that guy, he always gave you a solid match...however, he's no Rick Flair. Roode is at best this generations Arn Anderson. Also IMPACT's story telling makes so little sense...yes I'm aware we have guys who beat the hell out of each other and then down the road are partners or even friends, but look towards two recent examples of seriously terrible story telling in IMPACT. Angle / Jarrett...these guys had a brutal war going for like a year...which by the way brutal eventually just became a series of silly variations like a wedding cerimony, or Double J's MMA stint, and now his Mexican championship this war did a 180 when Angle joined the same guy that 'stole' his wife and why? Because Hogan told him Dixie Carter knew that Double J was banging his wife and never told him. So the guy who wasout to destroy Jarrett is now his buddy, because their FORMER boss lied to him...which we all know is a lie Hogan told him...what? Hogan's retirement...ok they spring this on us conviently after Sting FINALLY gets his match with Hogan...yeah that wasn't coincidence, and when Sting calls Hogan on his BS, what does Hogan do? He inexplainably puts the company up for the match? WTF? I'll also add none of this came to a suprise to anyone who follows wrestling news online. IMPACT wants to play in the big leagues...fine start acting like a big league company...put story first...develope talent next, figure out what works. You take WWE for example...Vinces idea of wrestling is the 6' 10" jacked monster thats what he likes to see...you think Vince understands the appeal of Punk....hell no....BUT he see's its selling and he'll run with that. Personally IMPACT has some great talent getting buried Bully Ray, Ken Anderson, The Pope, AJ Styles are all swamped in pointless stories or at best overshadowed by stuff like Sting turning into the Joker or Jarrett being Mexican champ or Hogan 'fake' retiring. IMPACT needs to rethink wrestling all together...something Vince does every so often. You just can't keep doing things the same was as you did them in the 70's. |

IMPACT needs to rethink wrestling all together...something Vince does every so often. You just can't keep doing things the same was as you did them in the 70's. I have to disagree with you on some of the folks you pointed out as great talent though. Bully Ray is terrible. His matches are as entertaining as watching paint dry and the fans seem genuinely disinterested when he's in the ring. They don't care if they cheer or boo him because he is BORING. Ken Anderson is getting to be the same way, though I will admit he is MILES beyond bully ray. I'm hoping after the match between them at the ppv, that Anderson will actually get a feud going with someone decent. I do agree about Pope. He is severely underutilized and they are wasting his talents by having him team with Devon. I almost feel like with that team, TNA said, "well what do we do with these two guys? Oh I know! They're both black so let's make them a team!". Ugh. Pope should be trying to win a singles title. Heck why not let him beat Eric Young and legitimize that title again? And Joker Sting is entertaining to me. But maybe that's because I've always been a huge fan of the guy.
