Yeah, they were those blasted Generations deluxes of wheeljack, warpath, thundercracker, scourge, and Kup. They were very hard to find at the time, but now they're everywhere. Fuck. What a poor decision on my part.
I guess I'm just too used to finding Joes easily, or actually, having Joes be easy to find. They were never this bad during 25th or ROC. Joes were never this hard to come by, but recently it's been pathetic. I hope Joes do better, I'd hate to see such an iconic brand die again, or at the very least, become an online-only line again. |

I know right? I remember a year ago when ToysRus in Warwick had at least 15 pegs dedicated to POC waves 1 & 2, but that was more due to the ROC figures originally holding those 15 pegs. What a fucking downgrade Joe has been put through.

I just don't get it. Even though I only collect very few figures, I can see how aggravating it can get with stores only carrying very limited inventory, and you take target at the warwick mall that hasn't restocked the figure aisle in ages, it just seems like the supply is not meeting the demand. I do think that stores over buying the RoC figs and the fact that it sold like crap hurt our chances of seeing alot more of the PoC and 30th figures. I remember way back when there was child world as well as tru, there were entire aisles devoted to t'formers, gi joe, star wars, mask, etc.. now we get like half of one shelf..def miss the old days..

Yes Troop Building def hurts other collecters. But like I said so does the inability of the stores to stock figures. I understand we all collect differently and I and repect everyone elses opinion as we have all clearly talked about it earlier. Lol
Hung out with Beam this am, he hooked me up big time can't thank him enough. I really would like to get to the next meet, its been too long, sounds like they are fun and positive and did I hear artic Destros for everyone. Is it me, I think the mod should have done a better job with his words. Just cause we act like kids doesn't mean we are children lol. Mainly ltalking about me incase anyone is insulted.That being said I hope any drama is being worked out through the multiple suggestions of pms as we all want the same things ... Joes n positive experiences. Picked up a Viper for anyone who needs one... Destros Son? Was at tru warwick this am, they had the marvel universe ultron wave, 2 hot rods, skystrikers, vamp, vtol. |

No need. The ones that are hard to find are gone already.

I will say this, since day one when I came on these boards, I never talked about anyone behind their backs, always treated others the way I wanted to be treated, with courtesy and respect. After the 1st meet I went to, I even offered to host a couple of meets at my house. I was willing to open my home to tankers I just met as well as ones I have yet to meet. But when I hear one tanker say there are others that feel they way they do, that tells me that there are one or more people talking about me and putting stuff in others heads, which I do not appreciate at all not to mention it's not fair or mature. Rather than come to me like a man, talk to me 1 on 1 they chose to go this route. And the funny thing is, I never knew at all anyone had any problems with me until I found out I was purposely being excluded from the meets. Say what you want, make your wise cracks about engraved invitations and what have you. Looking at the way this was handled yet those people are the ones being defended. Real mature way to handle things. Last edited by StormShadow73; 10-06-2011 at 03:35 PM.. |

@Squibbles: Good times today.
Picked up Commander Steve Rogers. Opened him up and he's riding on the dashboard as my co-pilot in life for today. I'm hoping to get to a future meet. Telling my wife I'm going out to have dinner with a bunch of strangers who collect toys and I've only spoken to on the internet is one of the nerdiest conversations I'll ever have. But I've got to put some faces to the screen names. |
