I've got two of them. Why, you need some? Some TRUs still had them and on clearance, too. That's where I got my 2nd one.

Like I said at the start of all this, rather than you MAN up and air your problem with me, you just act like the DBAG you accuse me of being by purposely excluding me in the meets you once always kept me in the loop about. Yea that's a real mature way to handle your business. Whatever man, that way I see it friends like you who needs enemies.
Having said that all who are fighting in this thread (and taking it over into others) have two options 1) take it to PM 2) drop it I would go with option 2. Having said that it looks like I'm going to have to be looking into these and other threads to make sure this is over. If there are any questions please feel free to PM me as I have cleaned out my PM box for this very thing. |

Target @ Warwick Mall has crap for Joes.
Seemed pretty stocked for MU - lots of Dooms, Silver Surfer, Falcon. Those were just the ones up front. I didn't dig. Found the first Hydra Trooper in the Captain America section. Didn't buy him. Paint apps around the head were atrocious. I'm not picky but he looks like someone got a little sloppy with the fleshtones. |

Quick question for you guys,
Q: Do you think the army-building buying metality hurts other people's chances of finding any troop/infantry type figures in stores? Even if they just want 1 of every troop figure? From my experience, pretty much anything trooper-related from POC-onward has been a pain in the ass or next to impossible to find. However, most of everything else that is solely restricted to being 1 character(Duke, Cobra Commander, Destro, Dusty, etc.) is far easier to obtain.

From my experience, pretty much anything trooper-related from POC-onward has been a pain in the ass or next to impossible to find. However, most of everything else that is solely restricted to being 1 character(Duke, Cobra Commander, Destro, Dusty, etc.) is far easier to obtain. 1) keep it for my own army 2) sell/trade it to someone that I know is looking for it 3) scrap it for parts for my customs To leave a desirable figure on the pegs is foolish on basic principle. I don't owe anyone else in the public anything, and if I get to it first, it's mine. Even if someone I knew was specifically looking for a figure that I stumbled across and I didn't have money to purchase it, I would securely hide it for them and let them know where it was (and I'm not talking hidden on the bottom shelf, I'm talking like hidden inside a box of diapers or under a garden display or inside a folded bath towel somewhere on the opposite side of the store). Now, to be fair, if said individual ended up not wanting it, I would return to the store and put it back where I got it to give others the option of taking it. Hiding and leaving something there for years is a bummer for everyone. To put it bluntly, if you snooze- you lose. The early bird truly does get the worm. I get out there and hunt as much as I can and thus, I typically get everything I need. Taking big chances like passing on a fresh case of new figures because you assume that they will be plentiful later or getting picky about paint apps, package condition etc is naive, but we've all made mistakes along the way. Happy hunting! |
