I hope BBTS is giving you some sort of compensation for plugging them. If not, it's a shame because you mention them daily.
No offense but seriously. Most of the people on here can't afford to pay the extra amount it costs to purchase from them. That's why we try to help each other out with Wal Mart and Target sightings, grabbing extras for those who aren't finding them, etc. Anybody can order from an etailer. It's not really a find or an actual sighting.

I'm not saying that buying online is wrong or people shouldn't do it. Its just my opinion that when people in this thread ask about "finding" or talk about "sightings" or "findings" they/we are talking about actual retail findings or spottings. Not buying online. I can go on Small Joes or BBTS or any other site and order online. Anyone can. Hunting so to speak is a retail shopping term. I don't think you have to "hunt" for figures online.

I disagree, if an etailer pops up an item that no one else has or gets it first why is that not a sighting? This thread is not labled "Sightings IN FIELD ONLY"...and my answer to his question I viewed as he was just asking where we all gott hem and that is exactly where I got mine from, he didn't specify that it had to be "in field retailers only". There is no hidden agenda or any other concieved conpiracy as to why I like BBTS or mention it in responses, just like anyone else does when they find whatever where ever. I just shop there...since my retailers around me for 100 miles choose not to support GI JOE, can't stock it nor reorder it. In fact I am lucky I can get my stuff from BBTS, else I would have nothing thanks to my side of town. You should be glad you have a field to sow up there and have others who like to help you out without having to drive 45-65 miles just to meet up with people or shop and then drive that same distance home, you have any idea how expensive that gas gets with how crappy distribution is?, try that down here with me and Magik and Ragin....I am sure you will be all over wanting to meet us in middle Irving to swap and even then I doubt we would have anything you woudl want anyway since we dont have anything in stock hardly ever.....

I always considered the group for locals sharing what they find & get in. Quite a few of us have mentioned or even posted up stuff that's come in from eBay/Online shops/etc before. Almost none of us are straight Joe collectors. And lord knows how many of us have tried to convince Magick to quit peddling his kids on us no matter how low he prices them as cheap labor. No means no, mister!

That is a good point. I can only speak for myself and my sightings, findings, and such lately have been zilch. I have a feeling that anything put out in my area is being swept up and placed on eBay. Or possibly in a local comic shop. It would be nice if these stores were well stocked. It would also be nice if the Online stores offered singles. But until then, I'll keep looking when I go in Wal Mart or Target for what I'm hunting. Which right now happens to be Commander Rogers and X-23 from the MU line. I'm caught up on 30th Joes for now. And anxiously awaiting news on the club subscription service....

The club service is the way it needs to go tbh...at least then we will know who we are getting for the year and they will be paid for easily...no running aorund an downdering what secodnary market is tearing them off the shelves...whcih I agree with since the drought on the pegs is about as bad as the drought on the land...and they will be 25th era figs...I am gettin gbored of all this jumping aorund they are doing...too many small collection...just continue the one and toss in new figs here and there if needed...why I am so anxious to see what teh fat eof Law and ORder, Techno-viper, Airtight and Sci-fi is...worst case scenario I hope the club sub picks em up for next year...
