I was thinking about this a few days ago. I know there isn't a lot of 6" stuff out right now but, I have seen all the 6" stuff I want several times more than I have the 4" stuff. I've seen the TRU IM 6" figures several times now (well, minus WM), I've seen the GLC wave 1 and 2 at multiple places, same with DCUC as well. Only set I had a lot of trouble with in 6" scale in the last year or so was the DP/Warpath ML 2 pack.
The 4" figures are ALWAYS picked through unless I arrive as its being put out. Even then, there are times when stuff was held in back. I haven't seen anything but Gladiator and Wolvie from the newer MU waves and haven't seen a hint of POC waves 5&6. I can't imagine being a casual, non rich (to order everything online) person trying to collect MU, Joes, etc. right now. Imagine the frustrations of somebody who isn't able to check out the stores very often. And when they do, they only find left over junk. |

Bad@$$ man! I loved this stuff back in the day. I remember watching the X-Men cartoon every saturday morning then spending all day playing with my X-Men, X-Force, MU, IM, etc figures from back then. I've considered several times getting into collecting this stuff again. It all seems to hold up pretty well too. |

I have all those in storage. I might have to break them out on my off day. Even then it was pain to find stuff but it was not impossible.

I had a box full of these. I gave them to my son last year after coming across them stored in the garage. He has a few favorites he uses with his MU figures as stand-in's until they make them (Beast, Prof. X, Brood) but others he doesn't even seem interested in.
If anyone wants them, let me know. I'd consider trading or selling the lot. Probably 50 of 60 figures at least. |
