as I said in the other threads, I don't care either way as long as I get my preorder, but it wouldn't shock me if it was online only. It appears in the system at the stores because it has a DCPI number and you can return the item to a store. It wouldn't shock me because:
1) exclusives are produced less to begin with and these cost more than the previous ones 2) supposedly, Target lost money on the first round of exclusives due to the poor distribution and sales...from $9.99 to $6 something all the way down to $2.48! I have no doubt that they asked Hasbro for less of these. Does Hasbro have a say over how Target chooses to sell them? I wouldn't think so. Maybe they thought they would sell better if they only sold them online. They are sold out as of now. I do hope they end up in stores so people can get them that didn't preorder them, but either way I'm glad I preordered them because I think they will be hard to find if they are available in stores.

The closest Target to me had the exclusives up and everything, then the promotion ended and they still had some vehicles left. (I assume around 7 or so) Now unlike some Targets stores who put the left overs into the Toy aisle, this Target decided to put them in the back storeroom where no one could see them to buy them. Apparently someone decided they should go back out on the floor with all the clearance stuff, but by this time they were marked all the way down to $2.48. (Of course they sold out in less than a day) You see, it's this Target store's fault for not having the toys in the aisle for people to buy when they could charge $10 for them (Mind you, there is no guarantee that they would have sold, but they had a better chance of being sold if the customer could see them) |

I call total BS on this! They will be in stores. The person you talked to does not know her elbow from her asshole.

Something to think about. Even if say these go immediately (sp?), eventually we will probably see them released to other stores. The HISS, SHARC and AWE STRIKER are all being re-released. So maybe we'll get lucky. Or maybe not. Either way, I wanted a few of each of these.

I blame Target for that one.....Let me tell you why:

He said on the checklane endcaps. The INSIDE checklanes. The one at the end by the cards. Well, that lane is never opened, and if I bought something, I would have never seen them, walked past the lanes daily and still didn't see them. Target seems to have the wrong people doing the planograms. |

The question is then if they are so paranoid about these why order the much bigger and more expensive Ultimate Battle Pack?
Again I think this is a bunch of horse shit brought on by a peon in a store making things up and someone in India answering Target's Cust Svc line and not knowing what she's talking about.
