2 - This has been done before in the comics - both he and Deep Six appeared in outfits not matching their aquatic versions. So, no harm done to the integrity of the character. Sometimes a codename doesn't encompass everything they can and can't do, just applicable to their 'main skill'. : ) Tom

My only problem really with Wet Suit is that the head looks nothing like the Sunbow or Marvel noggin. Its not horrible, but really doesn't look like "Wet Suit" that we have seen on paper and in the cartoon. But the paint job on the outfit is outstanding. There are a handful of guys on here that might be able to do that kind of work, but I know I couldn't.

Chap, I don't have the comics in front of me, so I can't really contribute to that side of things. If I was judging STRICTLY by the cartoon, I would say the Dusty head is a close approximation. If you had to reach for another, I'd go with General Hawk. Plus, let's not forget they probably had to pick a head that would fit the hat properly, instead of it sitting atop his scalp like a yarmulke. XD

Wet suit in Sunbow: GI JOE CHARACTER LIST
(about 1/3 down the page) Looks quite a bit different. I didn't say it was horrible, but it seems like their might have been a better choice. Or maybe not. But it doesn't look that image.

That's funny - hadn't thought of that head. The 2009 Chuckles head is more fitting for Wet Suit than Chuckles. But I agree, might not have worked with the boonie hat.

I actually had the chuckles head on my wet-suit custom but then changed it to the dusty.
