Man I don't see the love for avengers. I've watch a few episodes and just don't like it. I really dislike the look. Story's seem only ok. I love Renegades for its ability to develop the characters.

I agree about the Avengers. I just can't get into it as much as I thought and hoped I would have.

The Avengers is great because they are taking classic villains and characters - not changing the original character substantially - creating a new situation and introducing week by week the Avengers, the villains, their motivations, their strengths and weakness, and show them forming a team. Watch the recent Hawkeye episodes and you see the classic Marvel character - badly flawed but still heroic. If you caught the last one, you even get a sense of his history and him even meeting Mockingbird, the woman who would one day be his wife. Not bad for a show with about 10 episodes under its belt. They even had mini-episodes to introduce the individual characters and give their origins.

To this day mi madre doesn't trust the things. I don't think she's had a good night sleep in 14 years because of it, and I'm careful to get the ones with the safety features and not use cheap cords on anything. Everything goes through a surge protector with an auto shut-off, even my desk lamp. Also, never get those fold-out sofas. I could have picked up a regular one and pushed it out the door before it spread, but the fold-out ones are filled with metal parts that made it impossible to move (and I almost threw my back out trying). Also, wear boxers. Bad enough standing in the snow in January, but being in front of the gawking neighbors in only my BVDs wasn't pleasant. Oh, and eat your veggies. Quote:

There are some episodes I really like, and others that I roll my eyes almost all the way through. It's kind of hit or miss for me, though it seems consistent. I think, for me, it has alot to do with what character is the focus of the episode.

and that would be the problem. See if they had just started there and not reissued the mini episodes as episodes 3 up then it might have worked better for me. Plus I was expecting much more for Marvel's first toon under the mouse ears. It's just coming off like the Fantastic Four writers found the runners up for JLU's animation department and made the Avengers.

I don't have a problem with a person not liking the Avengers, but to say that Renegades is developing the characters better makes no sense. Renegades is developing the story better, though - as the Avengers is sort of episodic rather than epic. There is a little carry over from episode to episode but not as much of a huge story. They are just two very different cartoons.
