Well saying arguement invalid doesn't make it true. Problem is even cool under fire doesn't make that believable. anyone who has been mildly burned cooking knows how painfull burning can potentally be, being inches from the fire the heat alone would provoke a responce. Even cool under pressure he should have said "Uh, can you put a rush on that?" or something. thus: I mean geez dude if you are going to use the assinine net statement of "Argument Invalid" at least have fun with it. |

And why does he keep removing his mask? The baggy pants hip hop look of the uniforms and the squinty eyes are not my cup of tea. And what the heck is with Duke's spray tan skin color?

This. Show. Is. Terrible.
Resolute was incredible. They really nailed it with that, giving the older fans what they wanted and making it exciting enough for newer fans to want to find out more. The animation was spot on. Renegades is just not doing it for me. The stories are okay. I just don't like the A-Team origin. I can't stand Tunnel Rat, and the animation is just clunky. Storm Shadow looks like he's got a tapeworm and is wearing his daddy's karate outfit, 2 sizes too big. I'm bailing soon, HUB. |

Ergo, you're argument is invalid because I say it's invalid, and because to say otherwise would be to imply that Roadblock is somehow less badass than I am. Go save your house from burning down and then come back and argue with me. :P |

I once saved my house from burning down because I was cool under pressure, and I know first-hand what it's like to be inches away from a raging inferno and even burned by it because I stayed behind until the last possible moment fighting it until the fire dept showed up, and then dived through a wall of smoke and flame in nothing but my bvds into the snow, and then joked with the fire chief while hacking up enough smoke to shorten my lifespan that it was okay because I was immune to fire because of the ice-water in my veins. He wasn't as amused by the whole affair as I was.

BTW, and this is something that only someone who'd survived a fire would know, you are f***ing blind and senseless in that crap. There's no way to describe the sensation. Those stories you hear about people dying only a few feet from an exit, and you don't realize how it's even possible? Well I goddamn know from personal experience how easy it is now, and if I wasn't so good at navigating my house in perfect darkness I'd probably have dived headfirst into a wall and died right inside my doorway. The smoke? The flames? That shit's nothing. Not being able to see the exit while choking? That's when you know if you really have a cool head. Roadblock, well under the smoke layer, looked over and saw the exit and was like, "Ohhh, okay, not too bad yet." Seriously, Hollywood never gets the smoke right. The one time they did was the Balrog in LotR. The way the smoke poured up off it like a liquid in reverse gravity was so dead on that Weta deserved an award for that alone. Oh, and as a bonus to the story? I found my copy of Chrono Trigger for the SNES in the remains of the living room. Despite the fact that it was half-melted, it still plays to this day. I'll have to see if I can dig it up and post a pic next month. If Nintendo built military hardware we'd have nuclear resistant body-armor by now. |
