well SOMETIMES that actually forces writers to be creative. however, I do concur that if at the end of season 2... we're still navel-deep in Renegade exposition... that could be a problem. but again it's how they handle it.
I mean there is the chance of it being too rushed as well. at the same time... there's a LOT of joes and cobras to get through. so I'm remaining optimistic. Quote:

no, that isn't what anyone is doing at all. what is being said is it is completely asinine to critique a cartoon for children with mature standards. nothing about that is reflective of any criticism of people who like cartoons. in fact, it is the opposite; the argument is if you don't like cartoons for children than stop watching them, you've obviously outgrown them.
your attempt to correlate that to sports is not only flawed because it ignores the vast differences between professional sports and children's cartoons, but also irrelevant. |

I was wondering where you were hiding. Point of fact that is exactly what members here are doing when they use the "grown-ass-man" clause. I'm a cartoon fan but I like what I like according to my standards. They aren't necessarily adult but they are mine and mine alone. The fact that I don't like Renegades doesn't mean I can't like anything animated that is aimed at children which is what was implied. I've been targeted as being angry about renegades and I could truly not give a shit.

The first episode was kind of bad in my opinion... then the second episode pulled me back in and the third and fourth were great... basically Renegades is getting better by the episode. I just hope the trend continues. |

I like the overall premise but the art is killing it for me. I'm the same way with comics. Doesn't matter how good the story is if they bring in Kordgy or Bachelo or one of those other kindergarten artists.
