OK I saw the 1st Episode. It's not bad. It will do more for the line than anything else, but sigma 6 didn't do much to help the brand so I'm worried it will give the same results. It seems simpler to follow than Sigma 6 and easy to follow for an 8 year old. Not the Joes I grew up with, but I like all the characters. What's the deal with Lady Jaye?
I'm afraid the figures will start looking Cartoony, taunt and scrawny like Clone Wars animated. That will be the end of the line for me. I can only hope if that comes to pass, then they will continue putting out a separate "Saga" or "Legends" brand like Star Wars runs concurrently with Clone Wars Animated. I'm not sure how much you can expect it to do for new sales. Being on a premium channel gives it a chance to have a longer run, but it cut down on the number of potential viewers. It makes me wonder if they plan to have this show on DVD before the figures are released. I wouldn't worry about the figures being scrawny. I'd worry about a bunch of figures with "arctic Joe" legs for the baggy pants.

Yeah, that could be a let down.

While we are on the topic of Renegades, do you think they will be able to incorporate many new characters on the Joe side? The way it is set up with the main team on the run, it seems it would be difficult to add characters to the roster (such as say, Gung Ho or Shipwreck).
I actually wouldn't mind the writers keeping the Renegade team small (also in the toyline, my wallet needs a break) instead of throwing in tons of new Joes every episode to make money in toy sales. |

As much as I'd love to see new characters, I doubt we'll see too many new ones. Mostly because new characters mean new trademarks and I don't see Hasbro going out of their way for new ones.

One thing I did like about Renegades was that they made Snake Eyes an Intel asset of Scarlett's instead of an Infantry soldier. That made alot of sense.

well they still have about 208 known Joes to use. I'd be down with the good old days of about 8-12 new ones a year.
I'd love to see both Gung-Ho and Shipwreck as they are two of the most iconic that we haven't seen. Who were the 10 figures from the 1st and 2nd 5-packs? Duke; SCarlett; Snake-Eyes; Gung-Ho; Roadblock Hawk; Flint; Lady-Jaye; Shipwreck: ????

I'd like to see Stalker make an appearance. He's one of the top 5 Joes in my opinion: Snake Eyes, Duke, Scarlett, Stalker, Gung-Ho.

Yeah totally agree Tanksmasher, I always thought Stalker was more of a 'quiet professional' than Duke.
