replied. I have 2 of them, didn't really care for that barc mold. I have all my droids in one box, bounty hunters in another, general figs in a box, force users in another. Clones in a box and Imp troops in the last box. Counted through my clones the other day, and its clocking in at 312 figures. Just clones. Sad. you know the SA Phase2 trooper, with the back antenna and shorty dc15? i have 103 of them. I don't even remember getting all of them. |

I'm still psycho for the Clone Wars animated figures though, and it's a bonus that my nephews love them. I just got the new ATRT w/Boil in a trade with ShockVal. It's pretty cool. Me and the boys missed the CW ATRT the first go 'round, so they are fighting over it now until i can locate a second. Me and my oldest are going to make him a custom CW Mando figure, a good guy to be "friends" with the clones and jedi. I'm really looking forward to customizing with him. It's nice when hobbies dovetail together.

It was those ROTJ Death Star scenes that did me in. As a kid, I never dreamed I'd be able to army-build troopers to look like that! Well, it was either that or those Muppet Babies scenes where they knocked all the Stormies down like dominoes.

Which Luke was that? I was only going to get Dengar from the first wave to finish off the bounty hunters but I ended up getting Dack to ride shotgun with Snowspeeder Luke. If you don't have THAT vehicle, I highly recommend it. It's my favourite toy to have come out in recent memory. I saw W3 for the first time yesterday, I'll be getting Ackbar and Jedi Luke and another two Gamorreans. I don't do starwars vehicles. period. Quote:
hrm, you find shorter people annoying? I will admit there are alot of them out there, but the younger generations are getting taller. When i was a senior in HS i was the tallest at my school, and i think there were about 20 in all that were 6feet or over. A buddies daughter is a senior in hs and their senior class has about 50-60 dudes over 6ft, 3 chicks over 6ft and a 7ft tall Bball player.
i think its the hormones in school milks.... I don't know what part of the states your from, but don't visit the campus around here. In a program of oh, about 300, there's about 3 or 4 guys over 6 feet and the tallest girls are 5'10', and then a few at 5'8". Main campus programs are just as bad. Average height here is apparently 5'7" for guys and 5'4" for girls... I hate to be elitist, but it bugs me to no end. Just once I'd like to be able to talk to someone at eye-level without having to slouch, cant my neck, or sit down. |

That ROTJ Jedi Luke is one cool looking fig though. It'll probably be my main display Luke when I get him. Why don't you get the SW vehicles? Just a can of worms you don't want to open? I don't really buy them either, but man some of this OTC stuff that's been coming out (AT-ST, Snowspeeder, AT-AT) recently is just fantastic. I realized that its the attention that they've been giving to OTC, especially now that the prequel stuff isn't so fresh anymore, that's been drawing me back in. |

I believe I have a form of OCD which leads me to be very possessive of collections. I hate things that are "one and done". For that reason I don't enjoy single novels or movies, or purchases. Everything must be part of a set, the more detailed or long the better. For example - g.I. Joe's massive character roster, Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt series, Star Wars EU, The Ender series...you get the idea. If I get one star wars vehicle, my collection will spiral out of control. I know it. Not to say I'm not tempted on occasion (the Clone Fighter Tank always lures me), but never enough to break. |

Cool, you managed to get the twins. Did TRU up there get them? I got them just for the droid pieces but I don't really have any attachment with the characters so I traded them away. But I can see what you mean about Bespin Luke fitting in with the twins.

I realize i have some that i will never be able to trade off (BMF being the main one, it's just too big to ship really). I have a walmart ATST i hope to trade at somepoint, for some cw vehicles or something. I got it on clearance thinking it would fit in my CW collection, but it sticks out like a hammered thumb |
