Really? an eraser does the trick? Hmmm...I guess I'll have to try that on a figure. There's a modern Ms. Marvel at a local comic shop that I'm thinking of picking up but it has a black paint blotch on her face. You think using the eraser would get rid of that blotch?

I love posts like that... it makes me feel less bad that I started MU with Wave 8. LOL. I also started 25th Joes with Wave 9, but at least with Joes they had revision cases up the yang that reached all the way back... For MU, if you missed the first couple of waves getting caught up is going to be pretty hard IMO.

Here is the variant of a definition variant - definition of variant by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia. Variant just means something different than the original. If the figure looks different than the card art or the "standard" version, it is a variant. Rarity has nothing to do with it. |

This thread needs the 'exploding peanut butter sandwich' tag.

I don't think it's really a matter of him being a chase figure anymore because Hasbro did not properly send him out to the retailers it seems. In my parts people are finding tons of the Maskless version (which I have read here is suposed to be the variant) all over the place at Walmart sometimes in multiples. My area apprenlty missed the shipments of the masked Iron Patriot so he's the rare to us lol...
So if you want the maskless one hit up walmart...that sounds to be the place he wound up so far from what I have read..

I think at christmas we will see a lot of those"hard to Find" figures.Last christmas they released tons of revision figures.A great variety from the first year, including theultra hard to find bullseye. This year I wouldn't be surprised to see jean grey, vision, warpath and probably a lot of the older fury files figures. At least here the figures are selling like hot cakes.I doubt there will be much hesitation from retailers.I would still keep an eye out for some of the figures that are geared toward the comic fan.Norman osborn patriot will dry up soon and never be seen again.Mary jane will probably be another hard one to find later,IMOP

No kidding.
I was still on the fence and passed up Origins Cyclops and Iceman, the Sabertooth/Blob 2-pack, Vision, Bullseye, Moon Knight, and Sunfire...guess who's kicking himself in the ass now? I'm hoping a multipack, comic pack or revision can "save" me.
