I agree... But I had a conversation with a friend who is an online seller. It's what he does for a living. He doesn't deal with Joe stuff, though. Anyway, he was telling me that for many sellers who don't have the ability to have a direct line of wholesale distribution have to go to places like Wal-Mart and Target to pick up their stock. Now with something like G.I. Joe, it can be tough to get wholesale distribution. So picking up Joes would be tough and if you have a market for them, then what are you going to do?
Again, I don't agree with the practice. But I understand why they do it. Especially if its their livelihood. But enough of my rant. The time has come to talk of many things:Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--Of cabbages--and kings--And why the sea is boiling hot--And whether pigs have wings. Hm, we got Red Hood from Blockbuster at home just yesterday. I'll probably watch it tonight as well. All of the DC Animated Movies have been really good, I think either Public Enemies or New Frontier are my favourites. But you're right though, James Woods was awesome as Owlman. "It doesn't matter."
I didn't much care for New Frontier, not my era or cup of tea. Loved First Flight though, really loved it! Jack Bristow as Sinestro...you could just *feel* the arrogant menace! |

I understand but still have zero sympathy. Even more so because they have made it their "livelihood". I mean, if you're gonna sell toys, cool....make an actual *taxable* frickin business out of it, where you buy from wholesalers. Buuuuuuuuuuuuut No, they would rather slice through retailers like the bottom feeders they are, snap up stuff because... hey, it's not like they got a job to be at, and then when the rest of us working stiffs can manage to be there...nothing. All so some douche can maximize his profit. at least greedy corps can say, "Hey, we buy it in bulk wholesale/manufacture it, and then ship it to your local, we deserve profit!", the scalper is just a parasite on an already bloated and corrupt system.
But enough of my rant. The time has come to talk of many things:Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--Of cabbages--and kings--And why the sea is boiling hot--And whether pigs have wings. I'm an anarchist at heart so belting the system on in the groin is something I can back.

Tenk I watched Red Hood last night, I thought it was pretty good but I wouldn't call it their best one. I was surprised at how violent it was, but I'm not familiar at all with the story. I'd really like to see them do Hush or Kingdom Come in an Animated Movie. It looks like they got the Supergirl arc from Batman/Superman next on tap, and then Batman Year One after that. REALLY looking forward to Year One, that should be awesome. |

Goood Morning Coffee Force!!
Today has started as an excellent day! Stopped by the store on my way to work. Met a fellow collector and his daughter. He snagged the POC CC and Firefly before i could get to it, but i still got Beach Head, Snow Job, Snake Eyes, and Alley Viper. We talked, and he seemed really cool....and he's a MOC collector. MOC being my antithesis, i was suprised! And the best part? We both beat the scalper there, who showed up shortly after we snagged the figures we were after. So, all i need now is to find me a CC and a Firefly, and I am set! Good Day. YOJOE! |

Survey says, another one for the good guys!
I think the weakest one of those DC movies so far has been the Doomsday one, but they're all pretty good if not spectacular. But yeah, Hush would be badass with all the cameos and whatnot, just like Public Enemies. How cool would it be to see Harley Quinn animated again? |

I didn't really care for the actual Doomsday part, but the second half dealing with the after math was actually pretty cool. I loved Luthor in that movie though. |

Wow. Ok, so the new POC filecards are definitely better than the ROC filecards, but still laughable. I love the riff about snake-eyes' "solar modulating visor" and electromagnetic railgun...he came with two MAC-10s and a G36...sheesh!
Sad thing is, i bought Snake Eyes and SnowJob for parts. |

I would love to see a Nightwing animated film, maybe with Cassandra Cain sidekicking in it or something. |
