yeah..looks like a bunch of snake eyes bodies and limbs with new faces for the male figures, and then the same with baroness figures. Im not a customizer but i think even i could change the head of my Scarlett to the baroness body.
Hasbro must have let th einterns and monkeys work together to make these figures. These look like an easy PASS for me |

I don't think these are real. They look like some headswapped customs that could be made in about 4 seconds.

Agree with the original poster 100%. The new costumes are horrible. The thing that always made Joes exciting was how differant they were. Now that they are all just clones of each other, they sure make crappy toys.
At this point, NO interest in the new figs, even if every one of them has a new sculpt. I may enjoy the movie for what it is, but I think the costumes are a huge mistake and strip all the characters of their individuality. I'm just worried the movie will be popular enough that Hasbro stops making the classic character figures. Pretty sure they will change the packaging at a minimum, which would remove a lot of the incentive I have now to collect them. I hope Hasbro goes the ideal route and continues with two lines, one based on the movie with whatever die cut crap packages they want, and the other continuing exactly what we have now with the classic costumes and packaging. |

The new costumes are great. The potential for excellent figures from this movie is enormous, but if people choose to ignore them because they're not like "what's gone before" then that's their business, but it doesn't make the product any less valid or 'official' GI JOE.

you see it's funny because in the movie, you know, they all wear the same outfit, so all the figures can be made from generic Snake Eyes parts because they are black, you see, just like the outfits in the movie, and then Hasbro is cheap, you know, and like to reuse parts, so they will just reuse the head sculpts already made, you see, and keep being cheap like they are, and that is why it is funny.
thats why its hysterical reminds me of the bandai power rangers even the pink/yellow girl rangers had the same Big ass male body LOL oh lord i can't wait to see those toys... i am still cracking up people though those are the real figures What will even more HYSTERICAL is when it really happens. Oh wait I know also.... they can make snap on amor..... and make them all G i Joe "Storm-Troopers" wouldn't that be interesting...... kinda like the centurions but with G i joe and star wars.. oh oh I think I just gave Hasbro-ken an Idea |

The movie figures are going to be awesome.just wait and see. new head sculpts on hi-tech body armor. Yes, they will peg warm like IJ because when the movie hits Hasbro will flood the market with them (it won't be a sign of no one buying, it will be a ton of product, see: Iron Man toys, Hulk toys, SW toys, etc.) And i will take the new battle suit over new versions of Eco-Force and DEF team anyday! Bring 'em on Hasbro!
