after the 1999 crash test of a sephia,i'd never even want to be a passenger in one,and the company told insurance institute basically to f themselves.
only one foreign car i'd buy, suburu. currently selling my collection to raise money for a decent downpayment on a dodge challenger, only a v6,all i need but i am a GM man through and though, challengers just look bad-ass.

I owned a 2007 Hyundai Entourage, and I will never buy a Hyundai again. I continually had little things going wrong, the windshield seal flying out at higher speeds, bolts falling off the right passanger door, the abs warning light going on everytime I drove in the hard rain, and the emergency brake had to be popped back up with my foot after releasing and the dealership addressed the issue by greasing the cable, still had problems with it. I traded it in 2 years later for 9 grand, I was not pleased. Good safty rating though, as long as nothing goes wrong with the air bag deployment.

I've been in the car biz for 20 years (service side, not sales) -
Go buy yourself a good used Honda or Toyota if you have to (as opposed to new if you can't). Best advice I can give anyone looking for good, solid, reliable transportation, my professional advice. My last 3 have been Toyotas and the rest from here on out for me and the missus will be the same if I have my way. ..............at least till I get my Porsche, and even then I'm still driving a Toyota to work everyday.

I don't know why, and I am one who went to school for and worked for General Motors for the most part of the past 20 years. :( I reached a point about 10 years ago or so where I gave up on "doing the right thing" when I realized how much of everything else we buy is made and how much $$ still goes overseas, not to mention I was tired of "doing the right thing" by buying American vehicles and NOT getting the value and quality of my hard earned $$ out of them, as I could if I bought foreign. The turning point for me when I was so hard core "buy American cars" w/ everyone was when I realized I was watching my Mitsubishi TV, talking on my Samsung cell phone, w/ my Austrian made Glock sitting next to me, while petting my German Sheppard dog. Kind of didn't make sense anymore. BTW, do you know where the best AC Delco (a GM company) products that Delco made were built back in the day (the ones that Delco made that DIDN'T fail I mean) - JAPAN! :( Not to mention all the electronics for most Harley Davidson's are now built overseas also. Think about it, you can NOT escape it by saying, "I only buy American" I don't care what anyone says. ........and before anyone responds, think about that while you're looking at you're GI Joes made in China. See what I mean?

hey, dont harley still have a idleling problem,oh wait harley xed it and owners complained about it ideling right.BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-,hey look ay me i ride a harley.
yeah south park reference there.:loldid see a moron, actually was behind them for 6 miles, waved to every biker that came other way(like look at me i got a bike too,i'm special) and he couldnt ride it either, almost hit a car making a left hand turn.stopped right beside it on the left hand side, thankfully they didnt turn yet.:p and toyota?does it stop,or just accelerate? porshe had a recall on their first 4 door, all 10k of them, something stupid. anymore it really comes down to what you like.last car on my list is suzuki,i'd rather murder someone,go to jail or chair and burn in hell then drive one,let alone own one. damned if you do,damned if you dont. i owned my grand am,a pontiac for 14 years since new.i have about 2k in repairs into it,100,000 miles, acually 800 miles from 100k.thats in actually repairs aside from lights, brakes tires and other regular maintanace.for the most part, the car has been 2 to 3 times better than average, but i dont beat it either like most people. now pontiac is about dead but past few years they made line a joke, since they renamed everthing to sound fancy, they cut quality out of it.that was FAIL in EPIC portions. only car company i got 100% faith in is suburu, quality and especially saftey seem first to them, not quantity.
