I got most of my figs in '82 so close together I can't remember who was the first. I may of got them in groups and not one at a time.

Beachhead was mine. My brother got Mainframe. I forget which store but my whole family was going to watch a movie when we passed by that store and he bought them for us.
After that, my brother and I were hooked...

HISS tank with HISS driver in '83. It was a gift and if I remember well, the store's name was BoniMart..

My first Joe was the straight armed grunt and breaker with the RAM and FLAK. My first Cobra was the officer and soldier both the straight arms. My first Cobra Vehicle was the FANG.

Does anyone remember who the peg warmers of the early assortments were?
How about the Hard to find figures (limited funds and purchasing ability not withstanding)? For me, '84 Stormshadow was the rare one. All my friends couldn't find him and would try to buy or steal mine. |

Pretty sure it was Gung-ho or Doc and it would have been the K-mart on Chase Ave in Milwukee, WI.
