bro, you're awesome man, and i know where you are coming from. my sister got fncked from her ex, she has to work 3 jobs ones off the books, but all 3 combined still ain't sh!t, but since she has the other job after her normal job she makes to much for help. it's terrible cause there are one's out there that get help and are lazy and don't deserve the help and just robbed the system, and the ones that try get fncked...
deadbeat parents should be hung.. they need to take care of what they helped create.. it's only natural like doggy style is in the animal kingdom.. i feel for you bro, just hang in there.. |

Hey man, I wasn't even signed before, just looking at current threads--I read yours and had to show some support.
You always come off like a solid "good" dude. You have your boy and judging from what your ex was like it sounds like you literally saved his life--in one way or another. I have been battling with the state for a long time now, surgery, disability, losing my job while I was healing--then they find out I'm a registered business owner and even though I have paid in a RETARDED AMMOUNT of money for my own unemployment and disability--they gave me almost nothing. It is never easy dealing with assitance from the state, and I think its even more a of a f'ing hassle if you're upstanding and have always done the right thing. Anyway, soon enough you'll look back on this thread and the smoke will have cleared. Nothing but positive vibes and thoughts for you bro--keep your head up. |

Dude, I feel your pain. I've had custody of my 9 year old girl since she was a baby without child support. Thankfully, my family has been enormously helpful, but I can relate. I split with her mom because of extreme issues...but kicking a kid? I'm relieved that I can't relate to that degree. At least after all the bs, you've got your guy with you and safe.
I've got a 2 year old with my current gf and I can relate to the state assistance woes. Lately the little daycare help I do get for my daughtet has been affected by my girlfriend's income, even though she's not related and has no financial input into my daughter's life. I'm glad the assistance exists, but its a shame that it sometimes seems as though abusing the system would be easier. The single dad phenomenon seems to growing more common by the day. On a personal note, congratulations and a chunk of respect are in order for getting through some rough times, as well as some good luck for the future. |

Having met you Bro-you seem like a well put together dude who has his shit together. Hang in there, it'll work itself out.
Oh-and you were wrong when you first stated that no one would care. We do. We really do. |
