Batman: TAS should have been #1, I don't care how long Simpsons has been around. Batman had better stories and animation, plus the creators knew when to not jump the shark and let it end appropriately, instead of beat it like a dead horse for 20 years.

I'm glad to see some of my favorites on there! I'm glad Spectacular Spider-Man outranked the overrated 90s version.
Some placement is a bit off to me, a lot of rose colored glasses ranked older shows a bit higher than than may have deserved. I think Venture Bros. should be WAY higher and Tiny Toons and Animaniacs bith started out strong but turned to pure crap 25% into their runs. Shows like that are fondly remembered often more for their constant after school presence than their quality. Inloved DuckTales though! I find "Loony Tunes" too vague to be considered a series really. There have been several formats for replaying the cartoons that weren't made for television and the quality and style is so varied. Strangely enough, I don't feel that way as much about Tom & Jerry, even though its the same deal. So my argument is kind of stupid. |

No Galactic Rangers or Starblazers?
No Thundercats, Silverhawks, He-Man or Thundarr? Interesting.... By all the Adult Swim and Anime on the list, I'm going to call fail on this one as I'm thinking it's pretty biased.

He-Man's on there.
Venture Brothers, imo, should be way higher for its attention to detail and continuity alone. The Critic at #26 is a joke. I'm not even sure it should be on that list. X-Men... not too sure about that. I remember that show being pretty crappy, though I do believe it brought the team and especially Wolverine into the mainstream.

In any case I'll definatly agree with you on the others. I had to go back and watch He-Man on DVD to realize it holds up a LOT better than a lot of stuff at the time. |
