And I will have to say that the He-Man movie wasn't much of a success either. Quote:
With all that said, I only consider the Latest Batman and the Superman (and the old ones) and maybe (just maybe) Spiderman 1 to be a success for the fans. Even with spiderman 1 they changed a lot of the core story surrounding the character - which I hated. No sorry - back to my original point, it shouldn't be the ultimate GI Joe experience - it would be nice if it had been, but since there are so many versions and stories you wouldn't be able to please all the fans either way. |

No... because we didn't spend a dime to make it. They made the movie they wanted with their own money. Not sure why people feel they are entitled to films that please them when they have no creative input or monetary investment in a film. We just played with the toys during the 80's so I am thankful we got the 25th and a movie at all.

If that's true, how come there are no Turtle Vipers to be found in the upcoming POC line?
The only Elite Viper planned is a Target exclusive with a Trouble Bubble, all the prototypes we've been seeing are Mechs, AWE Strikers, etc, none of it was in the POS movie. How come there's no more guys in Reactive Armor like Breaker? Haven't seen any new plans for Accelerator Suits either. Resolute features a black Ripcord, because of Marlon Wayans being cast in the role. Every figure in the PoC line that is another version of a character we saw in the movie carries the actor's likeness. My guess as to why there's no reactive armor Breaker is that no one cares about Breaker, but really your argument is weak and grasping at straws. Sorry you didn't like the movie they made about the toys you collect. |

He's not talking about expecting it to be good, he's talking about people expecting it to follow their vision.

I don't settle, and the movie wasn't garbage just because you didn't like it. |

Go make your own movie.... or Make your own franchise and then make a movie. GI JOE belongs to Hasbro and they can do what they want with it.... just like they have in the past and just like they will in the future. |

You are not Naive enough to think that every film makes 150 million, correct? Some films do not go past 50 million..... why? Negative word of mouth. Get over it and realize that some people like the movie...... it happens! |
