I never finished watching Victory, but I found Masterforce to be the best of the 3 different series. Headmasters was pretty bad from what I recall. All the name changes (to really stupid names like Blaster becoming Billy) the switch from one Matrix to multiple Matrixs and of course the "epic" battle between Soundwave and Blaster...sorry, Billy. They both stood in front of each other for what felt like minutes just firing away then they ended it by punching each other through the chest at the same time thus killing each other. Only to be rebuilt again using each other's parts (I assume that's why "New Blaster" is now blue)
Anyway, take notice Joe fans, Shout Factory claims they are releasing the Japanesse only Headmasters to the US because fans bombarded them for years at all the different conventions and online asking to get the DVDs made. If Shout sees something as a viable seller (IE: Enough people ask for it) they'll try to make it......you want the Joe DiC series? Follow the Transfans example |

Sweet! Beast Wars is GREAT.
Thank God I never broke down and bought one of those insanely-priced Rhino sets on Ebay! |

I am very excited that Shout! Factory will release Transformers: Beast Wars in a complete series set on DVD later this year in 2011 that I will get and looking forward of to enjoy all 52 episodes in the correct order, longer opening intros for each season, more special features, best transfer quality and everything and does it have a release date for June 7, 2011 and what is the cover art going to look like for Transformers: Beast Wars The Complete Series on DVD and how much will it be and how many discs will it have and where will i preorder at which websites and will it be shoutfactory.com and amazon.com
Thank you. Jonny |

The disc count for Beast Wars has to be a mistake. It's not possible to fit 52, 22 minute episodes onto 4 DVD's and not have the video quality suffer. Especially if they plan on including special features.

Anyone know if these Headmasters are the same english dubs we've had for years now from ebay or are we at least getting a re-dub with proper names and less odd voices?

My guess would be original Japanese with subtitles, no dubbing, with perhaps the familiar American names for the characters substituted for some of the wackier Japanese ones.
