Hey everybody, how's it going, great, me?, I'm good thanks.
Hey listen, check out the AMC series The Walking Dead. This is the true heir to the Romero throne. It's being partially directed and co produced with the woman who produced Aliens. This is truly the piece of zombie media that speaks to me. I taught college art, and media for two years, know everything about every artist and director in the genre, and fantasies about George Romero, (not in the naked way tho). The D.P. is shot on and spot one with the comic, but Frank Darabont directed, Shashank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Mist, he desaturates the color palete wish gives everything a washed out look. In sunny scenes, he does the white balance to make it more orange, white balance to light blue I think. If you love zombies, have an escape plan, fantasize about what you would do, this show is something you need to see right now. The pilotis on hulu.com right now. I went straight to itunes and bought the standard def season pass for 9.99. now it just appears in my itunes download folder a few hours after it airs! It's made me so happy I converted and destroyed the chorus of a beloved Kenny Loggins song Danny's Song. And even though I ain't got cable, itunes brings zombies to my table, And everything will bring a chain of guuuuuts. And Monday morning when I rise, KNB special FX co. brings a tear of gore to my eyes, And they tell me everything is gonna be all Fright. Watch the show, episode 2 is called guts go to amc.com for snipet clips to wet your whistle. The cinematography isn't the only reason to watch, nor is the gore. The Walking Dead refers to the survivors and the vast emptiness they have to play out the struggle to remember and hold on to being a human. INCREDIBLE: 5 out of 5 decapitated heads!

It certainly shows promise. I have been a fan of the comics since the first ish, and the show is pretty loyal to it. I gotta give kudos for the effects on the zombies as well, they are putrescently perfect. Doom's right, if you like Zombies, or survival horror, give it a look-see.

My Man AA is so right!
The character of "Glen" is so accurate to the book it's scary. He's an awesome character, and is the perfect compliment to the character of "Rick" who is wearing the sheriff uniform.

Agreed. Also beautifully shot.
KNB does the make up, and they are lead by Greg Nicatero who is Tom Savini's friend and first student.

Living in the Atlanta area at least I know that when the zombie outbreak happens I need to stay away from the city. But, that's just common sense anyway.
Love the show. It's my new favorite show. |

Would you still be obligated to pay any loans if you become a zombie?
