Predator:
Rebel Camp Taking out half the jungle via bullets Dutch setting up the traps for the final battle Commando: Looting the secret stash in the gun shop. Evil Dead 2: Weapon modifying/creation of the chainsaw hand montage. RAMBO(IV): 50 cal. Massacre, mostly turning the guy in the front seat to mush Tom Yum Goong(The Protector): Uncut single shot of Tony Jaa kicking a** all the way to the way to the endangered species/rare animals restaurant. The Final fight scenes where he joint-locks, tendon rips, muscle tears around 50 dudes and then takes on the super-hulks. Fighter in the Wind: The making of "God Hand" training Montage. Tombstone: Doc Holiday vs Ringo, "I'm your Huckleberry..." "You're no daisy, you're no daisy at all." There are many more for me but these are the ones that stick out in my mind. But Predator and Commando I remembered those scenes from before I was in preschool. Last edited by Arashikage39; 11-08-2010 at 11:11 PM.. |

Saving Private Ryan - the landing on Omaha Beach. Left me with a lump in my throat. The tension in the beginning of what's to come was torture.

And a few honorable mentions while I'm at it.
Excalibur: The whole movie is full of awesome scenes (pretty much any time Nicol Williamson opened his mouth), but the opening battle, and then again near the end when Lancelot appears out of nowhere to aid Arthur both stand out. Conan the Barbarian: The funeral pyre, and then later when Conan says the most badass prayer a badass God could ever wish for as Thulsa Doom's army bares down on him. Transformers: The Movie. Prime's foe-tossing charge of awesomeness. Spongebob Squarepants Movie. The ending. "His chops are too righteous!" The Incredibles. "I'm not strong enough!". Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. Roddy Mcdowall's speech at the end is so epic and chilling, you forget it's being delivered by a guy in a monkey costume. |

I'd be hard pressed to pick my top 10...there's just far too many, and scenes some films have multiple scenes.
Hell some films in complete are classics from beginning to end. Since naming all my favorite scenes in films would take forever I take 10 scenes I like in no order (and trying not to repeat those mentioned but I do love a lot of them as well)... 1) Holden's 'I Love You' speach from Chasing Amy Such power, such emotion. While Affleck may not deliver the goods in every film he makes, Smith brought out one of the best performances in him for that movie. 2) Luke takes on Jabba's crew Its the very first time Luke we realize Luke is FINALLY a Jedi Knight...my heart skips a beat everytime that saber hits the palm of his hand and it ignites. 3) Dorothy Gale lands in Oz Its a classic, and easily a scene that displays the simplicity of imagination. 4) Norman Bates shares a sandwich with Marion Crane Tony Perkins tears this scene up with nothing more than dialog...he's charming and scary all in one scene. 5) Rodger, Rodger...huh? Airplane is simply a masterpiece beginning to end but the banter between the flight crew is classic. 6) We could put up wanted posters all over school... Porky's again classic from opening to ending, but I still commit that the scene after the shower scene as the gym staff discuss what to do is perhaps the funniest scene ever written. 7) What happened to the American Dream? The scene in Watchmen where Comedian and Night Owl handle the rioting crowd is perfectly set...and while the Comedian is a scumbag, he has a point. 8) Showdown with General Chang The end starship battle from Star Trek 6 is awesome partly because its the last time we see the whole TOS cast in action, partly because Christopher Plummer rocked that role. 9) My Bloody Valentine 3D Tom Atkins death I've seen a lot of horror films and its hard to come up with a death I've never scene before...this one was awesome, it also is easily one of the best horror remake films ever. 10) The gift or the Red Rider BB Gun Love A Chrismas Story and again a perfect film from beginning to the end, but there's something very touching in the fact that Ralphie taps every single avenue he can think of for getting that gun, but its his father the one person he never thought to pester that had the deepest connection and gets him the rifle. Well I could name more scenes as I've seen WAYYYYYY to many films but I'll stop at the ten. |

Every time I watch the Dropship sequence I feel a sense of exhilaration... god I love space marines. LOL.
I think my favorite scenes from Leon are from the uncut director's cut version... those few scenes totally changes how you see Mathilda's and Leon's relationship. That scene where a mud painted Arnold is bending the branch across of his back to make a bow by the glimmers of firelight... that was the main reasons why I started lifting weights in the first place. LOL. My god... when he opens up the door to the back room where the secret armory is... that scene forever influenced me on how much I valued all my extra guns and accessories that came with my ARAH Joes. LOL. That and the guy's rec room from Tremors. LOL. Are you talking about this scene: I saw that movie in the theaters as a kid with my cousin and that entire movie experience was simply beyond words. But IMO that scene in particular is why Transformers will always be ahead of G.I. Joes... Joes simply have nothing that can compare to it.
