Disney is taking Tinkerbell to the big screen with Elisabeth Banks in the title role.

But don't we get enough of those films? The DVD ones are a series of four.

They also have "Cinderella" in development...and I hope it won't be disappointing as the last few live-action "Cinderella" films have been IMO...

I loved the CG Tinkerbell Disney movies... I just liked the fact that Tinkerbell was a Tinker (basically a tiny MacGyver, lol) and that the mouse was named Cheese.

But I am a bit apprehensive about a live-action version... until I saw that pic of Elizabeth Banks. LOL.

*cough* The one with Brandy *cough* Horrible *cough* LOL. But I actually liked A Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff and thought Ella Enchanted with Anne Hathaway was wonderful. But IMO Ever After was the best one.

I think my problem with the Hillary Duff one is that they put in too many characters when they already had a set of characters from the original story that needed to learn things. Trust me, trying too hard to get people to like you is not worth it, and they shouldn't have had put in her guy friend as the stepsisters should've learned that.

Can Disney just stop. Their movies usually suck and are lame. They do nothing original and anything that is original "Toy Story" was developed by others. They are the ultimate "jump on the bandwagon company" a far cry from what they used to be.

She looks too old to be Tinkerbell IMO...that girl from the notebook (Rachel McAdams) would be better...or Reese Witherspoon

I think Elizabeth Banks can pull the role off..i mean hell the only other live action tinkerbell i can think of is julia roberts from hook and she was terrible as tinker bell. At least Elizabeth Banks dont have a horse face and is attractive.

You forgot Ludvine Sangier from the '03 version of "Peter Pan"...she was great, but her first language is French...
