see, here is the linchpin why a lot of these lists get flack...
people inject their personal likes and dislikes into the critiques, but fail to see the big picture... a lot of people think the Simpsons and Family guy suck... but a LOT MORE disagree with you. whether you like or dislike the Simpsons, being on the air after 20 years while maintaining a large audience can't be argued with.....Period. Family Guy was the first cartoon in HISTORY to get a cancellation reversed based off DVD sales and syndication rating numbers. To my knowledge, only Star trek had accomplished that beforehand. Love it or hate it... its currently airing on 5 DIFFERENT NETWORKS. and all of them are getting ratings. I personally didn't like Beavis & Butthead, and...actually Most Mike Judge cartoons. but I couldn't deny the pop culture popularity of Bevis & Butthead in the 90's, and King of the Hill Now... So this list is failing to see the big picture and seems to be mostly personally critiques. Most of the cartoons on Adult Swim, good they may be, do not have the impact and relevance that alot of the older cartoons do. Where's Ben 10 on the list? The one has to be on there. I'd say it's as relevant and has as much impact on the youth that G.I. Joe did for us back in the day. Besides Avatar: The Last Airbender (which I think is more of an adult cartoon hiding as a kids cartoon), Ben 10 is probably the first in a long time to do what it's done: cartoon, toys, video games, etc.. without being a clone of something else (Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, Bakugan, Digimon, etc..).

Which just reinforces our point that the list is biased since other big cultural impact cartoons aren't as high up the list as they should be.

Ben 10 is a very good cartoon that should have been ont he list. Im assuming starblazers didnt make it case it was scarcely broadcast back in the 80's// and a lot of THIS generation is unaware of it.. but agreed it should have been on the list as well

South Park and Family guy shouldn't even be in the top 50.

Batman:TAS should have been #1 (not a big Simpson's fan, though I cannot deny their relevance), Batman Beyond, JLU, Robotech, TFormers & GI Joe should have been ranked at least in the top 10.

Since when is robot chicken a cartoon? Nothing on it is drawn or CGI animated: It's one of my favorites anyway.
