An idea taken from the comics. Tony used to keep the armor in a suitcase.

Like I said, it's something out of the comics. Old idea they "borrowed" for the movie.

I am totally stoked for this movie..wish it was a different villain than Whiplash though.

Wasn't that Iron Man "Extremis"?? Cool either way. If they use source matierial like this, I'm all for it. Iron Man #1 used plenty of stuff from the comics, and that movie turned out to be one of the best comic movies yet!

It was an earlier suit, way before Extremis. I think it was just after the bulkier red/white armor and before the first appearance of the gray/white (what would become the War Machine armor).
