Wow. I remember the build up of this movie. It was another Michael Creighton film coming out just after Jurassic Park. I think Burger King or Taco Bell sold stuff with this movie theme. It was great marketing, and hype, but what a let down. Like I really care about a guy in a gorilla suit, with an annoying robot voice, carrying on like a 6 year old. Just stupid.
Gorilla suit Amy doesn’t even use signs. She just waves her arms around. |

Happy Death Day 2U
An absolute mess of a time travel movie. It made our watch list because my wife loves horror flicks, but this was more goofy time travel and alot less horror. |

Congo toys were funny, too. The apes were like chew toys with moveable arms. The female character reused Ripley's body from Kenner's ALIENS line. A vehicle was a repurposed Jurassic Park vehicle. Ah, the 90's, when toy companies hoped every new genre movie would sell STAR WARS numbers.
