The Magnificent Seven (2016) - An okay movie with some good action. Modern westerns always seem lacking no matter how good the cast. There's just something about the genre that's expired or hard to recapture with modern sensibilities/views.
LIFEFORCE - seen it before, but haven't rewatched the whole thing in many years. Ambitious sci-fi horror for its time. |

Mortal Engines.
Beautiful CGI and effects, great music and cinematography... but the story was lacking and you had ZERO interest in the characters. Too bad really. Spoiler: The Twinkie joke was LAME.... it's such a tired old cliché about them surviving the apocalypse. 1000 years and that thing would have shriveled up into dust.

Spiderman into the Spider-verse
I never got into the ultimate universe so Miles is not a character that I care about. I can understand why they're doing it, hopefully it won't water down the Spiderman story to the point that nobody cares. The anamation cool but not a story that kept my intrest.

Shazam early screening.
I liked it very very much. A bit dark though. I really did not expect such depth from a movie whose trailer has flossing and such a light hearted tone. |
