Twister - I really liked this movie when it came out. Written by Michael Crichton, directed by Jan DeBont, starring Bill Paxton, it had a lot going for it then. But pretty much everyone in the cast annoys me now (except for Bill). What's crazy is that two of them went on to win Oscars. The tornadoes are still impressive, but the characters are just so damn cheesy. "He's in it for the money, not the science!".

Constantine
oh how I wish they had cast Rhys Ifans in this role.......but I digress. I still enjoy this movie and think Reeves did pretty well. |

It's crazy, I really liked that movie but have never owned any verison of it. Gotta fix that soon.
I'm really looking forward to Guillermo Del Toro's "Justice League Dark" with Constantine and the rest. He's the perfect director for that. |

The Case of Charles Peace
Very early (1949) "true crime" melodrama

I've always preferred DC. Deadman deserves a movie by himself. If they can get a plan together, they'll be great. After all, they have what Marvel wants, all their properties under one roof.
Marvel killed off my interest in the 90's with all the Todd McFarlane and Rob Liefield crap. I think the only reason that I like all of Marvel's new movies (minus the Incredible Hulk) is because I did like the Ultimates. |
