"Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" - Not sure if it's my favorite of the MI movies, but it's a damn good one.
This would be my formula for how to make a G.I. Joe movie. It practically is one. Just imagine Hanaway as Flint, Carter as Lady Jaye, Benji as Breaker, Brandt as Chuckles, Ethan Hunt as Duke, the IMF Secretary as Hawk, Hendricks as Cobra Commander, Wistrom as Destro, and Moreau as the Baroness. |

"The Thing" - The John Carpenter classic. Simply a perfect film. And it looks better than ever on blu ray. The only thing that dates it really is the chess computer. Everyone was perfect as their character, right down to the dog! I don't listen to many commentaries on movies, but you have to with any John Carpenter and Kurt Russell movie, and this was the best of them all.

Sherlock Holmes & Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows - I love the banter in both movies. I also enjoy how Downey, Law, and McAdams play off of each other. I find it very enjoyable.
The Mist - This is a science fiction horror film written and directed by Frank Darabont. It stars Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, Andre Braugher, and Toby Jones. It also has Walking Dead cast members in it such as Laurie Holden (Andrea), and Melissa McBride (Carol) in it. I liked the movie a lot. If you haven't seen it you should really check it out. |
