Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Gonna need to ramp up my viewings to finish them off before the showing on Friday I already bought tickets to. Gonna have to do 3, 4, and 5 tonight then 6 and 7.1 tomorrow. That's a lot of Potter.

Green Lantern. I am sorry, it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be / reviewed. It was solid and entertaining. It was by no means on the level of TDK or a Spider-Man 2... but it was better than X3 / Wolverine / Spider-Man 3 etc and just as good IMHO as Thor.

Still not caught up yet, but just one away.
Wednesday: Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Thursday Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - which after re-watching still pisses me off HP7.1 right after work and then straight to the theater after that. When this is done I can't tell if I'll be sad or relieved.

Winnie the Pooh
I'll be honest, I don't like to see the HP movies until I finish reading the books...and I never did finish the 6th one. Although what really ticks me off about the 5th one is how Ginny is moping about not having Harry...didn't she get over him and date his friends at that point? I think that would've been a more positive message to young girls.

Deathly Hallows pt.1- The fam's also psyching ourselves/getting ready to say goodbye.
I barely remember Ginny moping in five, but I think it's not so much that she got over *Harry* and dated other guys for a while, it's that she got over the Famous Harry Potter she'd grown up seeing on a pedestal, played the field for a while, then fallen for Actual Harry, a guy she'd known for a couple-few years. Besides, teen girls... *shrug* One minute you're up, the next you're down, then all of a sudden you're falling in love with a dude you'd been chill about being friends with, but it doesn't necessarily dictate your entire personality. What pissed ME off was Tonks-- she became a completely different person when she started moping over Remus, and she didn't go back to being the somewhat-clumsy-but-still-kickass colourful character she had been once she got him, at all. After they got together, I started re-reading looking for foreshadowing, since just about everything in the series--at least, everything important-- had at least some portent, and I could find nothing until BAM, she's in love and it turned her into someone I don't care for at all. Sigh. I didn't care for her sudden OOC-ness one bit. Anyway, ranting done now. I mostly really loved DH 1. There were a couple things where I was like 'people who haven't read the books will be confused!', but I say that at least once a film, and at least with this one I can hope it gets tied up satisfactorily in the next. And, of course, in a movie things don't always happen like they did in my head, but sometimes I liked what I saw on the screen even better than my initial imaginings.
