tim burton batman-
1) i like jack's joker better than heath's 2) towards the end batman blows up a bunch of bad guys via remote control batmobile. this is wrong. batman doesn't kill people. did they ever read a batman comic book? 3) having the joker die was just stupid. have him escape in the helicopter at the end. |

Joker dying gave a sense of closure to the story man.something unfortunately we will never get with the modern Joker.we are just meant to forget about this mastermind and assume he is being a good boy in Gotham.they should have killed him in TDK.not exactly by Batmans hand but similar to Ras in BB Im with you on Jacks Joker-I much prefer him.after that its Hamlls animated Joker. Batman killing people didnt bother me too much in Burtons movies......kinda made sense for the type of place it was and he didnt go out of his way to do it.watch carefully....he doesnt.if he did he would have killed every guy he fought on film and not have tried to save Napier from falling in the chemical.. my last movie was Push.solid flick Last edited by JokerFC; 07-05-2010 at 07:32 PM.. |

Also depicted a spaceship accurately in favor of a slick futuristic "Star Trek" ship too...all good science except for the "q-ball" killing the Sun.

Just saw "AVP-R" for the first time on FX...what the hell was that dark(Visually/to the point of being unwatchable) pathetically homage filled mess supposed to be?...I don't know what storyline they were trying to convey, except for continuing a Franchise that deserves death, yet still threw in that Ms. Yutani B.S...God where these two once excellent franchises have fallen...here's to hoping "PREDATORS" is a decent non related effort...

1) it just seems that too many comic movies kill the villains, and it sucks because the comics are the opposite. keep 'em alive and bring 'em back every now and then.
i do, however, agree that tdk should have killed the joker considering the demise of heath ledger. one instance where they should and they don't. Besides there are plenty of villains for more films (even a few good ones) and the life of a film franchise is fairly limited. At best they could expect 5 films out of Batman (though I doubt either Nolan or Bale will want to go that far). Then 10 years later it will get another reboot. |
