I think this would've been a *better* hit if Elisabeth Shue had been convincing - and - if the villains had been more fierce. It's a great way to watch Val Kilmer doing what he did best - disappearing into a character.

The Batman is the only thing I've watched in RP's filmography. I'd held off until maybe two years ago before I watched and was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. I'd place it just after Batman Returns, Batman, and Batman Begins (in that order), but I wish I'd have avoided the 4K transfer of Batman Returns, as it strips away the colors and atmosphere.

Day of the Dead (1985)
Not my usual interest, but Svengoolie's assistants ran a double-feature. It wasn't a bad flick, but the makeup doesn't look great on a 4K TV.

Yeah. It seems like an "easy" trope to make the military leader the bad guy sometimes. Sherman Howard was great, too. He'll always be Lex Luthor to me, though.

but yeah, outside of her, i really liked the saint. it was a movie that pretty much changed my life in highschool.
