Pretty cool flick from Wm Castle with a definite Hitchcock mood. Maybe the second or third Joan Crawford film I've watched.

It was better than Legion, to be sure. Other than Stoltz kissing the little girl, it was a heck of a flick showing how well character/supporting actors could carry a story. The sequels were not that great, though I liked the one with Jennifer Beals.
VM also made a sultry film in '90 or '91 with Don Johnson and Jennifer Connelly that was directed by Dennis Hopper. It tends to get traction because it featured a lengthy JC topless scene.
Blue Tiger is also a great flick from VM. I think the concept was remade as Peppermint a few years ago.

i started "i will never leave you alone" on tubi. it's about a mute guy just released from prison and he's got a job to "evict" ghosts in a house; it's called "hangza" and it has something to do with a japanese custom. he cant leave the house for 7 days.

so far so good. i'll probably finish it tonight.

Cloak and Dagger: Season One

An ok show, as far as projects not done by Netflix or called Agents of SHIELD goes. The two leads aren't terrible, but not particularly memorable, either. This series suffers from terrible villains to fight against. Cloak and Dagger in the comics share many of the same villains as Spider-Man, so they are probably mostly off-limits, due to Sony having the Spider-Man rights. That doesn't leave a lot for Cloak and Dagger. They did use D'Spayre in the second season... unfortunately, they ruined him worse than Black Widow did to Taskmaster.

I'm sort of a fan of original Cloak and Dagger characters from back in the day then they would mostly guest star alot in original Uncanny X Men and in old Power Pack.

the Cloak and Dagger show I watched on Hulu back in 2020 or 2021. Show wasn't bad or anything. it relied too much on New Orleans black people drama.

Runaways I think they need to add that on Hulu or at least Tubi. Does Disneyplus even have that Runaways show?

No, which is weird, because it was originally made for Hulu and Disney owns Hulu. It's on Amazon over here in the UK, but not on Prime... you have to pay for it.

Streaming shows becoming impossible to watch after getting delisted is starting to become a thing. Same thing happened to the Willow show on Disney + iirc.

this is another reason why i started buying physical stuff of movies and tv shows. my list of wants just keeps growing, but also when i hit up thrift stores, flea markets and antique malls i keep adding a bunch of "i should probably have this." types. i'm nearly out of room on the shelves i built and i dont have any idea where i would put more.
