Interesting fun fact about Mama's Family. CBS originally spun off the Carol Burnett characters into a tv film Eunice. Then NBC produced the tv series and renamed it as Mama's Family.

The first iteration/season had Betty White as part of the cast, but then NBC canceled it. This allowed her to be cast on the Golden Girls by NBC a year later. So if it had been a hit and lasted more than one season, Betty White would have never gotten the opportunity to play Rose on GG. Can't imagine any other actress playing that role. Sometimes things just work out right.

I was obsessed with Dick Tracy. I was always bummed Playmates never got to make a second wave of figures. Would have been great to see The Kid, Breathless, Tess, Pat Patton, The Chief, 88 Keys, Littleface, The Stooge, Spud Spaldoni and Numbers as figures.
