i vaguely remember htat name, was it on tubi? freevee?
i love that movie. i went in with no expectations and really enjoyed it. i ended up watching it 2 more times at the dollar theater before it shut down - bringing people with me each time because it was so great. same thing happened with antman, even though i love paul rudd. actually gotg got me actually GETTING THE BOOKS which i havent done in a long time. and holy crap. going back to annihilation and reading up to shortly after the movie came out was a freakin ride. what was this on? kind of waiting until i have it on one of the many streaming services i have, since it was in and out of theaters so quickly. i really wanted to see it. |

I just watched the preview for that Hellboy. I liked the last one with David Harbour, but I am not sure about this guy's look. As for the story, looks creepy as hell, so I will give it a shot. Looks like Apple TV, Prime and Fandango right now to stream.

Someone from overseas uploaded it on YouTube this weekend, it lasted about 2 days before it was taken down.

Rawhead Rex (1986) - Not very good, but I guess we're doing Clive Barker-inspired movies so gave it a go. The story was better. Go read The Books of Blood if you haven't and like horror...would be time better spent than watching this.
I think this is my favorite MCU movie. Knew nothing about the comic going in, but the humor mostly works and the cast has great chemistry. |

Guardians of the Galaxy 2
A sequel that, in my opinion, is better than the original, with even better chemistry between the characters and the introduction of Mantis, played perfectly by Pom Klementieff (although she's quite a bit different from her original comic appearance). The main villain is also an improvement, as Lee Pace is replaced by the incomparable Jack Burton... I mean... Snake Plissken... I mean... Kurt Russell! And there's more Yondu in this film! The soundtrack is also banging, just like the first film. Just a really fun film, all around.

i started to FINALLY watch late night with the devil. and. i like that it's a period piece and it looks pretty accurate for that time. but i dont know. it's a slow scary, and that's fine, but it doesnt quite match the trailers i've seen. i dont really care about nate night hosts (especially fake ones they're trying to set up as real ones) enough for the first what felt like 15 minutes to be about him. say "this was the lost episode, we pieced together from footage" and then go. |
