Season 2 was just as good as Season 1... probably even slightly better, since they got rid of Debbie. The Elmer Wayne Henley interview was a particular highlight, as actor Robert Aramayo did an excellent job. He is, of course, also known as young Ned Stark from Game of Thrones (the excellent battle at the Tower of Joy scene, especially) and Elrond in the much maligned Rings of Power.

I'm still mad about Mindhunter getting cancelled. Holt McCallany was in the trenches of Hollywood for ages and gets a great role, steals the whole show and it gets cancelled after two seasons. He should have gotten an emmy nod for his portrayal as Bill Trench.

Same. They originally said they were delaying it, because Fincher wanted to work on other projects. Ok... why do they need him to do season three? He's not even the show runner, just a producer. Someone else could do that.

There are so many other killers to interview, like Bundy and Gacy, and other crimes they could investigate throughout the rest of the 80s and into the 90s, like Richard Ramirez and Jeffrey Dahmer. Plus, we never got a conclusion to the BTK saga. Granted, he didn't get apprehended until 2005, so they still had a couple decades to go, but still.
