Frankenstein (1931) First time watching, loved it.
The Brides of Dracula (1960) Peter Cushing does his best, but Christopher Lee's absence is keenly felt, as the villain is pretty dull. That movie is a lot of fun. I need to rewatch it now that I've finally seen the movie it's parodying. |

Being John Malkovich (1999) - Weird little fantasy/absurdist comedy. Early Spike Jonze non-music-video Director credit. John Cusack, Cameron Diaz, and Catherine Keener play the three leads. Original idea, good cast, decent flick.
Red Sun (1971) - A Franco-Italian co-produced Spaghetti Western/Samurai movie starring Charles Bronson and directed by Terence Young. Odd mix of genres, but mostly a Western with a dash of buddy-comedy and an international cast of supporting characters. Worth seeing once, but probably won't rewatch. History of the World, Part I is my favorite Brooks movie, but Young Frankenstein is really good. |

Zack And Miri Make A Porno
Funny film, although it kind of loses steam near the end. The romance subplot feels tacked on and unnecessary, but Justin Long steals the show as Brandon St. Randy! He definitely should have gotten a spinoff sequel.

are these on freevee yet? i saw hubbub about a universal monsters channel coming last year, but the date came and went. im only seeing comments about pluto having the channel now. i dug around and the only old universal monster movie i could find was bride of frankenstein (and that's been on peacock forever).
which sort of sucks because peacock should have them all without any issues. |
