I still haven't watched that. I just decided I wasn't even going to bother after I learned they killed off John Connor in the beginning. I would have rather they did a complete remake of the original, than try to reboot the series by killing off the main character.

It's the first time I've watched, too. More for the sake of completionism of the franchise. The "reason" made sense in a way, but not really. It felt more like an attempted reboot with the core team (JC/AS/LH) as well as a continual crapping on the films that came before. JC mostly only wrote what pertained to AS. I didn't mind the new characters, but the excitement of the franchise is gone.

Beetlejuice (1988)
Good choice. Absolutely hilarious. My condolences. Like DarkLord, I skipped that one. I really like T2, but I agree that it's sometimes so close to the original that it's almost a remake. I definitely prefer the 1984 original. |

Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania on DVD. Don't get the hate for it. I enjoyed it.

Sad to hear that Linda Hamilton, who was great in the first two films, was unlikeable in this one.

Backdraft (1991)
She gets one funny moment, but she's otherwise best remembered for those two performances. And, I imagine it's more the character than the actress. Last edited by TheOverlordCorp; 05-28-2023 at 01:05 PM.. |

Turning the tables a bit, has anyone here watched Dog Soldiers (2002) and would you recommend it?
