Agreed on the art for ISZ. It's a great looking film, too. That one and The Thing are the perfect retreat on a hot July day. Amazon has a lot of radio theatre performances available. I think I may even have that production you've mentioned along with years of Orson Welles' performances for the Campbell Playhouse. |

I like ISZ, but it feels just a tick long to me, and I'm never really able to buy Ernest Borgnine as a villain. I grew up on late 90s TVLand Airwolf reruns, so he'll always be Dominic Santini. Somebody posted it on YouTube, too. That's where I came across it today. |

Ernest Borgnine was always a likable guy and played likable characters. If you have never seen it, he plays a sadistic train conductor in Emperor Of The North (1973) with Lee Marvin and Keith Carradine. Not to spoil it but him and Lee Marvin go toe to toe with chains, boards and axes and it was pretty brutal.

Yes! And Clint Eastwood dual-wielding submachine guns is a moment of pure awesomeness that has never been surpassed. |

Key Largo (1948)
A bit melodramatic, slightly weak overall, but any movie with a cast including Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall and Edward G. Robinson is worth a watch. |
