I am a big fan of X-Men and LOVE the classic 90's cartoon but I hate how this series blows up Wolverine and makes him the main star. Don't get me wrong, I love Wolvie, but 'Wolverine and the X-Men?"
If anything, it should be 'Professor X and the X-Men'.

Yeah that's the only thing that bothers me. Wolvie is badass but it should just be X-Men 2.0 or something else.

I didn't care much for X-Men : Evolution, so I thought it would suck. But, I've watched the first 8 that are up on Marvel.com, and it was pretty cool for sure.
I still wish Marvel Animation would take a lesson from manga and actually directly adapt story arcs (along with art styles). An animated version of the Grant Morrison run would be too awesome. Come on, The Riot at Xaviers, Scott and Emma's psychic love affair, Wolverine plunging into the sun and coming back alive and the Here Comes Tomorrow arc would make for killer animation. |

I like the writing on the show, it's compelling enough for an adolescent or even an adult viewer. I think the actual animation and direction are subpar though (even for a weekly animated show), and that's what keeps it from being a "must-watch" show for me.
