Hell yeah Quartine was good, but 28 days later is awesome and so is 28 weeks later !
28 weeks later was pretty good to. I also enjoyed "I am Legend". Yet one of my most enjoyable Zombie movies is "Shaun of the Dead". That movie had so much fun in it that i have enjoyed watching it over and over again. |

I agree with A.C.T. -- check out the original Spanish version "[REC]". Very effective zombie movie.

Yes, it's amazing! If you can find and watch Rec (think the record button on a video camera). It's the Italian, I think, movie that Quaratine is based on. I'm pretty sure they just released it domestically in the US. I think it's much better. The end scene is soooooo much creepier.
which is fine. they're both a good time.

I have to say I am a huge Zombie flick watcher. I love them. I didn't realize Quarantine was a Zombie movie until I saw it. It really was good but I have found that 28 days later is also a pretty good Zombie movie.

Am I doomed for disappointment because the first modern zombie movie I saw was 28 days later? Can the zombie aficionados reccomend other zombie movies that are on par? |

Wow, you guys liked that movie? Wow, I thought it horrible. And that's coming from a big time horror fan. Like some other people on here said, 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later are a whole hell of alot better!

i hate to say it because i pride myself on finding superior media outside of the mainstream but the original evil dead is still the best zombie movie.
a rather obscure zombie film i absolutely love is called 'horror express' and its about a frozen yeti possessed by satan that starts eating the souls of people on the train and eventually reanimates all of their corpses. it is a true masterpiece. stars peter cushing, christopher lee, and kojack. so you know its badass. |
