I love both movies, and Robert Patrick's unblinking scariness is undeniable, but I gotta go with the original. I think the main reason is The Terminator just feels really raw and gritty, whereas T2 is a bit more polished, and as a result feels slightly less "real".
Again, I love T2, the T1000 is incredible, Sarah's transformation is awesome (Kudos to Linda Hamilton for putting in the work to actually have some serious muscle), and the Sarah and John dynamic is great: the two movies together are a near-perfect duo. It's so close I may change my mind in the future, but today I have to go with the OG. |

That's a hefty price tag for an action figure.

I don't even want 1:12 scale stuff generally. I have a bunch of classified I'm debating selling or not and just going all in with 1:18. But there are SOME 1:12 scale figures - that are so cool - that I must have and would love to have up on the shelf. The Ghost in the Shell characters were the other 2 I saw from this admittedly very expensive line that were must have.
Keeping on the topic - if they had a Michael Biehn from T1 or Aliens, or a Hudson, or an Apone, that would probably be another instant pickup as well. Akira, Ninja Scroll, Mad Max... I think its just the cool stuff my brothers introduced me to when I was a kiddo. The high end Homelander figures coming out look super cool - and I love that character - but the nostalgic factor obviously isn't there so I don't see myself ever grabbing one. |

A question like that can cause a man's soul to split in two.
I just don't know. I voted T1. I love horror movies, and, good lord, T1 is a straight up sci-fi slasher flick that reeks of awesomeness from beginning to end. But then T2 is the quintessential action adventure with an ending that'll drive anyone other than a sociopath fresh off a murder spree to tears. Such fantastic stories in both, too. Time travel. The price of technology. Destiny. Attempts to change history. A machine developing emotional attachments. Absolutely amazing stuff.

T2 cause I prefer to see Arnie as a good guy. Nothing wrong with the original however. It was revolutionary for its time.
