I’m almost done with my rewatch of the GI Joe Sunbow series. After that I’m planning to watch Inhumanoids. They released the full series in the UK about 15 years ago. It’s tough to track down a copy now, but I really hunted
Other than that I took a break on my Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors DVD. Planning to get back to that at some point. I also have a bunch I’ve already watched, but I have just sitting in my apartment ready to be watched... The Drac Pack C.O.P.S. Heathcliff Bravestar And also the Transformers G1 cartoon. One of my favorite childhood cartoons. Some of the episodes I haven’t watched since the Rhino DVDs came out about 15 years ago. May have to get to that after Inhumanoids. |

Hrmmm quite a bit actually now that I think about it..let's see
Gi Joe Voltron Dragon Ball COPS Pole Position Bravestarr Silver Hawks Thundercats MASK Real Ghostbusters Transformers Go-Bots Droids/Ewoks Robotech Dungeons & Dragons Ducktales Darkwing Duck (I think this ones more 90s though, not sure) Super Friends He-Man Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Danger Mouse The Legend of Zelda That's about all i can remember off the top of my head...also those are what i consider "mine" we also have several blu ray or dvd sets that are more my wifes...Care Bears, Smurfs, Heathcliff, Snorks etc. I have been slowly introducing my three sons (9,3,1) to the wonders of 80s cartoons. It also helps explain the weird toys i collect to them. |

There were some '80s cartoons I loved, but even as a kid my tolerance for most cartoons was pretty low. I enjoy a few animated shows from the '80s (Joe, Inspector Gadget, the first season of TMNT, Duck Tales, Real Ghostbusters) but the '90s is where my collection really picks up. Batman: The Animated Series (all the DCAU shows, really, that was a golden age), The Tick, Ren & Stimpy, King of the Hill, Powerpuff Girls, Darkwing Duck, Futurama...
Don't mean to be a downer (or off-topic) but with a handful of exceptions '80s cartoons just seemed like they were made by people who didn't actually grow up with cartoons, while the '90s was dominated by creatives that had a real emotional attachment to the medium and saw them less as pure product or simple narrative advertising, you know? I grew up watching G1 TF but when I was watching Batman: TAS later that same day, the difference in respect for me was apparent.

Well, for one thing you're missing the point of the old 1980s cartoons. . You know nothing.
Second of all. Most of those old 1980s cartoons were made for kids based on the toys such as Masters of the Universe and G.I. Joe and Transformers. Toys came first then the cartoons. Quote:
