I personally didn't have any but my younger brother was more into monsters than I. I believe he had them all. My fondest memories of the old FAO Swartz was the Inhumanoods set up in the front windoes and 5th Av side entry area. It was really cool.

Always was a big fan of this show, and was bummed it never caught on like G.I. JOE or TRANSFORMERS. Got a Granite fig for Christmas, and it wasn't until Christmas 2015 that I finally snagged a D-Compose. Last July got my mitts on Metlar. Still trying to rustle up Tendrill, but lately it's been going for triple digits on E-Bay. By the way sir, great video. Looking forward to the rest of the documentary.

It's really mind-boggling that Hasbro isn't including this property in their relaunch. It's far more on-trend then Visionaries because of Pacific Rim, Godzilla, etc. Last I checked mech suits and giant monsters are more in style now than in the '80s.

There was something in the old UNIT: E comic that looked like it was intended to be an Inhumanoids relaunch (Primordia? Something like that...). But it disappeared just like the not-so-veiled Centurions reboot. But I think it basically boils down to: As a toy property Inhumanoids ended up being less successful than the other brands (even if the cartoon certainly left an impression in those that saw it). Here's the pic from the Hasbro UNIT*E book featuring the cast, pitch of primordia. The supposed Inhumnanoids reboot. Artwork by the one and only Art Adams. Someone who'd be perfect for an Inhumanoids mag.

You could certainly say the same for Visionaries, which had, in my opinion, neither a good cartoon or toy line...

I never had any Inhumanoids back in the day. Such a weird line for Hasbro, very dark and strange.
At one point I had a used D. Compose and magnacore but sold them...I needed money more. I have a couple smaller monsters I got a couple of years ago. Those rock people are held together with black rubber bands (like thick o-rings). Yeah, those aren't gonna age well. |

The toys were all right. Basically just slightly oversize Joes with holograms and a medieval-ish design. I thought some of the bad guys were pretty cool.
